The king answered the people harshly. He disregarded the advice that the older men had given him


But he disregarded the advice that the older men gave him, and consulted with the young men who had grown up with him and now attended him.


A soft answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger.


If the anger of the ruler rises against you, do not leave your post, for calmness will undo great offenses.


Then the Lord replied with gracious and comforting words to the angel who talked with me.
