But I have made no use of any of these rights, nor am I writing these things to secure any such provision. For I would rather die than have anyone deprive me of my ground for boasting.


For our boast is this, the testimony of our conscience, that we behaved in the world with simplicity and godly sincerity, not by earthly wisdom but by the grace of God, and supremely so toward you.


Make room in your hearts for us. We have wronged no one, we have corrupted no one, we have taken advantage of no one.


Be angry and do not sin; do not let the sun go down on your anger,


You are witnesses, and God also, how holy and righteous and blameless was our conduct toward you believers.
