At this I awoke and looked round. My sleep had been most pleasant to me.


While he was speaking to me, I fell into a deep sleep,  with my face to the ground. Then he touched me, made me stand up,


The Lord replied with kind and comforting words to the angel who was speaking with me.


So I asked the angel who was speaking with me, ‘What are these? ’ And he said to me, ‘These are the horns that scattered Judah, Israel, and Jerusalem.’


I asked, ‘What are these, my lord? ’ The angel who was talking to me replied, ‘I will show you what they are.’


Then the angel who was speaking with me went out, and another angel went out to meet him.


‘Don’t you know what they are? ’ replied the angel who was speaking with me. I said, ‘No, my lord.’


Peter and those with him were in a deep sleep,  , and when they became fully awake, they saw his glory and the two men who were standing with him.
