Never let loyalty and faithfulness leave you. Tie them round your neck; write them on the tablet of your heart.


Don’t lose sight of them; keep them within your heart.


Always bind them to your heart; tie them round your neck.


Say to wisdom, ‘You are my sister,’ and call understanding your relative.


Go now, write it on a tablet in their presence and inscribe it on a scroll; it will be for the future, for ever and ever.
