The one who searches for what is good seeks favour, but if someone looks for trouble, it will come to him.

He who diligently seeks good seeks [God's] favor, but he who searches after evil, it shall come upon him.

Those who look for good find favor, but those who seek evil—it will come to them.

He does well to rise early, who seeks what is good. But whoever is a seeker of evils shall be oppressed by them.
