Going a little further,  he fell face down and prayed, ‘My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from me. Yet not as I will, but as you will.’


Again, a second time, he went away and prayed, ‘My Father, if this   cannot pass   unless I drink it, your will be done.’


But when you pray, go into your private room, shut your door, and pray to your Father who is in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you.   ,


During his earthly life,  he offered prayers and appeals  with loud cries and tears  to the one who was able to save him from death, and he was heard because of his reverence.
