‘But you,’ he asked them, ‘who do you say that I am? ’
He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am?
He said to them, But who do you [yourselves] say that I am?
He saith unto them, But who say ye that I am?
He said, “And what about you? Who do you say that I am?”
Jesus said to them, "But who do you say that I am?"
Jesus saith to them: But whom do you say that I am?
He answered, ‘Because the secrets of the kingdom of heaven have been given for you to know, but it has not been given to them.
They replied, ‘Some say John the Baptist; others, Elijah; still others, Jeremiah or one of the prophets.’
Simon Peter answered, ‘You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.’
‘But you,’ he asked them, ‘who do you say that I am? ’ Peter answered him, ‘You are the Messiah.’
‘But you,’ he asked them, ‘who do you say that I am? ’ Peter answered, ‘God’s Messiah.’
