It’s not what goes into the mouth that defiles   a person, but what comes out of the mouth #– #this defiles a person.’


He replied, ‘Every plant that my heavenly Father didn’t plant will be uprooted.


‘But, so we won’t offend them, go to the sea, cast in a fish hook, and take the first fish that you catch. When you open its mouth you’ll find a coin.   Take it and give it to them for me and you.’


We are not giving anyone an occasion for offence, so that the ministry will not be blamed.


But we did not give up and submit to these people for even a moment, so that the truth  of the gospel would be preserved for you.


But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peace-loving, gentle, compliant, full of mercy and good fruits, unwavering, without pretence.
