They went into Capernaum, and straight away he entered the synagogue on the Sabbath and began to teach.
Just then a man with an unclean spirit was in their synagogue. He cried out,
And he said to them, ‘Let’s go on to the neighbouring villages so that I may preach there too. This is why I have come.’
Jesus entered the synagogue again, and a man was there who had a shrivelled hand.
And he was amazed at their unbelief. He was going around the villages teaching.
When she went back to her home, she found her child lying on the bed, and the demon was gone.
Also, demons were coming out of many, shouting and saying, ‘You are the Son of God! ’ But he rebuked them and would not allow them to speak, because they knew he was the Messiah.
