Now Isaiah had said, ‘Let them take a lump of pressed figs and apply it to his infected skin, so that he may recover.’

So he took him away from the crowd in private. After putting his fingers in the man’s ears and spitting, he touched his tongue.

After he said these things he spat on the ground, made some mud from the saliva, and spread the mud on his eyes.
