So Enosh’s life lasted for 905 years; then he died.


Adam lived for 800 years after he fathered Seth, and he fathered other sons and daughters.


Seth was 105 years old when he fathered Enosh.


So Seth’s life lasted for 912 years; then he died.


We will certainly die  and be like water poured out on the ground, which can’t be recovered. But God would not take away a life; he would devise plans so that the one banished from him does not remain banished.


Yes, I know that you will lead me to death – the place  appointed for all who live.


Also, they are afraid of heights and dangers on the road; the almond tree blossoms, the grasshopper loses its spring, and the caperberry has no effect; for the mere mortal is headed to his eternal home, and mourners will walk around in the street;


and the dust returns to the earth as it once was, and the spirit returns to God who gave it.


For the living know that they will die, but the dead don’t know anything. There is no longer a reward for them because the memory of them is forgotten.


Let your clothes be white all the time, and never let oil be lacking on your head.


Look, every life belongs to me.  The life of the father is like the life of the son #– #both belong to me. The person who sins is the one who will die.
