The Israelites ate manna for forty years, until they came to an inhabited land. They ate manna until they reached the border of the land of Canaan.


The hearing ear and the seeing eye – the Lord made them both.


Why, Lord, do you make us stray from your ways? You harden our hearts so that we do not fear   you. Return, because of your servants, the tribes of your heritage.


‘Son of man, you are living among a rebellious house.  They have eyes to see but do not see, and ears to hear but do not hear,  for they are a rebellious house.


I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you;  I will remove your heart of stone  and give you a heart of flesh.
