Enjoy life with the wife you love all the days of your fleeting  life,  which has been given to you under the sun, all your fleeting days. For that is your portion in life and in your struggle  under the sun.

To sum up, each one of you is to love his wife as himself, and the wife is to respect her husband.


Fathers,  do not exasperate  your children, so that they won’t become discouraged.


But if you have bitter envy and selfish ambition in your heart, don’t boast and deny the truth.


Husbands,  in the same way, live with your wives in an understanding way, as with a weaker partner,  showing them honour as co-heirs of the grace of life, so that your prayers will not be hindered.
