So those who accepted his message were baptised, and that day about three thousand people were added to them.


came and stood by me and said, “Brother Saul, regain your sight.” And in that very hour I looked up and saw him.


And now, why are you delaying? Get up and be baptised, and wash away your sins,  calling on his name.”


Ananias went and entered the house. He placed his hands on him and said, ‘Brother Saul, the Lord Jesus, who appeared to you on the road you were travelling, has sent me so that you may regain your sight and be filled with the Holy Spirit.’


And after taking some food, he regained his strength. Saul was with the disciples in Damascus for some time.


Saul got up from the ground, and though his eyes were open, he could see nothing. So they took him by the hand and led him into Damascus.


but their minds were hardened.  For to this day, at the reading of the old covenant,  the same veil remains; it is not lifted, because it is set aside only in Christ.


For God, who said, ‘Let light shine out of darkness’,  has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge  of God’s glory  in the face of Jesus Christ.
