‘Tell me,’ Peter asked her, ‘did you sell the land for this price? ’ ‘Yes,’ she said, ‘for that price.’

And Peter answered unto her, Tell me whether ye sold the land for so much? And she said, Yea, for so much.

And Peter said to her, Tell me, did you sell the land for so much? Yes, she said, for so much.

And Peter answered unto her, Tell me whether ye sold the land for so much. And she said, Yea, for so much.

Peter asked her, “Tell me, did you and your husband receive this price for the field?” She responded, “Yes, that’s the amount.”

And Peter said to her, "Tell me, woman, if you sold the field for this amount?" And she said, "Yes, for that amount."

And Peter said to her: Tell me, woman, whether you sold the land for so much? And she said: Yea, for so much.

However, he kept back part of the proceeds with his wife’s knowledge, and brought a portion of it and laid it at the apostles’ feet.

About three hours later, his wife came in, not knowing what had happened.
