He said: The Lord is my rock, my fortress,  and my deliverer,


Does it delight the Almighty if you are righteous? Does he profit if you perfect your behaviour?


The Lord is my strength and my song; he has become my salvation. This is my God, and I will praise him, my father’s God, and I will exalt him.


Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be afraid, for I am your God. I will strengthen you; I will help you; I will hold on to you with my righteous right hand.


I will strengthen  them in the Lord, and they will march  in his name – this is the Lord’s declaration.


But he said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power   is perfected in weakness.’ Therefore, I will most gladly boast all the more about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may reside in me.
