Afterwards, they carried Asahel to his father’s tomb in Bethlehem and buried him. Then Joab and his men marched all night and reached Hebron at dawn.


Jehoshaphat rested with his ancestors and was buried with them in the city of his ancestor David.  His son Jehoram  became king in his place.

Jehoram  was thirty-two years old when he became king; he reigned for eight years in Jerusalem. He died to no one’s regret  , and was buried in the city of David but not in the tombs of the kings.


Solomon rested with his ancestors and was buried in the city of his father David.  His son Rehoboam became king in his place.
