Then Asa rested with his ancestors and was buried in the city of his ancestor David.  His son Jehoshaphat  became king in his place.


There was  a lull of three years  without war between Aram and Israel.


Jehoshaphat  son of Asa became king over Judah in the fourth year of Israel’s King Ahab.


Jehoshaphat also made peace with the king of Israel.


He walked in the ways of the kings of Israel, as the house of Ahab had done, for Ahab’s daughter was his wife. He did what was evil in the Lord’s sight.


For as Jonah was in the belly of the huge fish   , for three days and three nights,   so the Son of Man will be in the heart of the earth for three days and three nights.
