Next, he arranged the wood, cut up the bull, and placed it on the wood. He said, ‘Fill four water pots with water and pour it on the offering to be burned and on the wood.’


So the water ran all round the altar; he even filled the trench with water.


Instead, we have renounced secret and shameful things, not acting  deceitfully or distorting the word of God,  but commending ourselves before God to everyone’s conscience by an open display of the truth.


Indeed, we are giving careful thought  to do what is right,  not only before the Lord but also before people.
