Then Ishbi-benob, one of the descendants of the giant,  whose bronze spear weighed about 3.5 kilograms  and who wore new armour, intended to kill David.


These four were descended from the giant in Gath and were killed by David and his soldiers.


When he taunted Israel, Jonathan son of David’s brother Shimei killed him.


Satan  , rose up against Israel and incited David  to count the people of Israel.


Again I saw under the sun that the race is not to the swift,  or the battle to the strong,  or bread to the wise, or riches to the discerning, or favour to the skilful; rather, time and chance happen to all of them.
