And although he knew his brothers, he was not known by them.


But after these events, he was shown in another likeness to two of them walking, as they were going out to the countryside.


And it happened that, while they were speculating and questioning within themselves, Jesus himself, drawing near, traveled with them.


And he said to them, "What are these words, which you are discussing with one another, as you walk and are sad?"


And their eyes were opened, and they recognized him. And he vanished from their eyes.


When she had said this, she turned around and saw Jesus standing there, but she did not know that it was Jesus.


But when morning arrived, Jesus stood on the shore. Yet the disciples did not realize that it was Jesus.
