But if it is by grace, it is no longer by works; otherwise grace would no longer be grace.


Why? Because they pursued it not by faith, but as if it were from works. They stumbled over the stone of stumbling,


Or “who has first given to Him, that it shall be repaid to him?”


They are set right as a gift of His grace, through the redemption that is in Messiah Yeshua.
