“Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.


Let me hear joy and gladness, so the bones You crushed may rejoice.


Do not be afraid, little flock, for your Father chose to give you the kingdom.


For a day in Your courts is better than a thousand anywhere else. I would rather stand at the threshold of the House of my God than dwell in the tents of wickedness.


Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded!

A psalm of Asaph. God, Elohim Adonai has spoken and summoned the earth from the rising of the sun to its setting.


Moreover, King Hezekiah and the officials ordered the Levites to sing praises to Adonai with the words of David and of Asaph the seer. So they sang praises with gladness and bowed down and worshiped.


O Jerusalem, purify your heart from wickedness, so that you may be saved. How long will your wicked thoughts lodge within you?


Surely You put them in slippery places. You hurled them down to destruction.


As with a crushing in my bones, my adversaries taunt me, by saying to me all day, “Where is your God?”


One with clean hands and a pure heart, who has not lifted his soul in vain, nor sworn deceitfully.


“I have set up My king upon Zion, My holy mountain.”


So David left Asaph and his kinsmen there before the Ark of the Covenant of Adonai, to minister before the Ark continually, according to each day’s requirements,


On that day David first appointed Asaph and his kinsmen to give thanks to Adonai:


So the Levites appointed Heman son of Joel; from his brothers, Asaph son of Berechiah; from their brothers the descendants of Merari, Ethan son of Kushaiah;
