Psalm 48:3
14 Referencias Cruzadas

A Song of Ascents. Those who trust in Adonai are like Mount Zion— it cannot be moved, but endures forever.

Nations are in uproar, kingdoms totter, He utters His voice, the earth melts!

But when Adonai saw that they humbled themselves, the word of Adonai came to Shemaiah saying: “Since they have humbled themselves, I will not destroy them but grant them some measure of deliverance, and My wrath will not be poured out upon Jerusalem by the hand of Shishak.

Nevertheless, David did capture the stronghold of Zion (that is, the City of David).

Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God shines forth.

Blessed be Adonai out of Zion, who dwells in Jerusalem. Halleluyah!

You are beautiful, my darling, like Tirzah, lovely as Jerusalem, awesome as an army with banners.

All who pass your way clap their hands at you. They hiss and shake their heads at the daughter of Jerusalem. “Is this the city of which they said, ‘The perfection of beauty,’ ‘the joy of the whole earth’?”
