Now when they heard this, they became enraged and wanted to kill them.


He will be handed over to the Gentiles, and He will be mocked and insulted and spat upon.


Then the crowd joined in the attack on them. So the chief authorities ripped their clothes off them and commanded them to be beaten with rods.


They were delighted and agreed to give him money.


Nations are in uproar, kingdoms totter, He utters His voice, the earth melts!


Awake, my glory! Awake, harp and lyre! I will awaken the dawn.


Do not forget the noise of Your foes, the uproar of those rising up against You, ascending continually.


For look, Your enemies make an uproar. Those who hate You lift up their head.
