Keep your lifestyle free from the love of money, and be content with what you have. For God Himself has said, “I will never leave you or forsake you,”


A faithful man will have many blessings, but one eager to get rich will not go unpunished.


“Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal.


Trust in Adonai with all your heart, lean not on your own understanding.


Don’t work for food that spoils, but for the food that endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give to you. For on Him, God the Father has put the seal of approval.”


Live in harmony with one another; do not be proud, but associate with the lowly. Do not be wise in your own eyes.


One greedy for gain troubles his household, but whoever hates bribes will live.


Do you see one wise in his own eyes? There is more hope for a fool than him.


Oy to those who are wise in their own eyes, and clever in their own sight!


Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear Adonai and turn away from evil.


For I do not want you, brothers and sisters, to be ignorant of this mystery—lest you be wise in your own eyes—that a partial hardening has come upon Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in;


but the worries of the world, the seduction of wealth, and the desires for other things enter in and choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful.


“He lies down wealthy, but will gather no more. When he opens his eyes, all is gone!


for riches are not forever, nor a crown from generation to generation.


or wealth lost in a bad investment, and when he fathers a son, there is nothing in his hand.


Thus says Adonai: “Let not the wise boast in his wisdom nor the mighty boast in his might nor the rich glory in his riches.
