Bless those who persecute you—bless and do not curse.


Do not repay evil for evil or insult for insult, but give a blessing instead—it is for this reason you were called, so that you might inherit a blessing.


But Yeshua was saying, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.” Then they cast lots, dividing up His clothing.


When He was abused, He did not return the abuse. While suffering, He made no threats. Instead, He kept entrusting Himself to the One who judges righteously.


Then he fell on his knees and cried out with a loud voice, “Lord, do not hold this sin against them!” After he said this, he died.


“Don’t strike them down,” he replied. “Would you strike down those whom you have captured with your own sword and bow? Set before them bread and water that they may eat and drink and go back to their master.”


Adonai my God, if I have done this— if there is guilt on my hands,


Then he said to David, “You are more righteous than I, for you have done good to me, while I have done evil to you.


Prudence makes one slow to anger and his glory is to overlook an offense.


“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, so also you must love one another.


See that no one repays evil for evil to anyone, but always pursue what is good for one another and for all.


But Paul cried out with a loud voice, saying, “Don’t harm yourself! We’re all here!”
