Love Adonai your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.


“So now, O Israel, what does Adonai your God require of you, but to fear Adonai your God, to walk in all His ways and love Him, and to serve Adonai your God with all your heart and with all your soul,


And ‘to love Him with all the heart, with all the understanding, and with all the strength,’ and ‘to love the neighbor as oneself,’ is much more than all burnt offerings and sacrifices.”


Also Adonai your God will circumcise your heart and the heart of your descendants—to love Adonai your God with all your heart and with all your soul, in order that you may live.


For the mindset of the flesh is hostile toward God, for it does not submit itself to the law of God—for it cannot.

“Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Torah?”


This is the first and greatest commandment.


And this commandment we have from Him: that the one who loves God should also love his brother.
