As was his custom, Paul went to the Jewish people; and for three Shabbatot, he debated the Scriptures with them.


And he went and lived in a city called Natzeret, to fulfill what was spoken through the prophets, that Yeshua shall be called a Natzrati.


Then He went down with them to Natzeret and was obedient to them. But His mother treasured all these words in her heart.


When He became twelve years old, they were going up according to festival custom.


“I have spoken openly to the world,” Yeshua answered him. “I always taught in the synagogues and the Temple, where all the Jewish people come together. I spoke nothing in secret.


Then He began to tell them, “Today this Scripture has been fulfilled in your ears.”


When Joseph and Miriam had completed everything according to the Torah of Adonai, they returned to the Galilee, to their own city of Natzeret.


He taught in their synagogues, and everyone was praising Him.


When the scroll of the prophet Isaiah was handed to Him, He unrolled the scroll and found the place where it was written,


But He said to them, “Doubtless you will say to Me this proverb, ‘Doctor, heal yourself!’ and ‘What we have heard was done at Capernaum, do as much here also in your hometown.’”
