Then they were trying to seize Him; but no one laid a hand on Him, because His hour had not yet come.


You go on up to the Feast. I’m not going to this feast, because My time hasn’t yet fully come.”


He sat down opposite the treasury and began watching how the people were putting money into the offering box. Many rich people were putting in a lot.


Some wanted to capture Him, but no one laid hands on Him.


Calling His disciples over, He said to them, “Amen, I tell you, this poor widow has put in more than all those contributing to the box!


But the ruling kohanim took the silver pieces and said, “It is not permitted to put these in the treasury, since it is blood money.”


Therefore they tried to capture Him again, but He escaped from their hand.


Then they picked up stones to throw at Him, but Yeshua hid Himself and went out from the Temple.


The Torah scholars and the ruling kohanim tried to grab Him that very hour, because they realized that He spoke this parable against them—but they feared the people.


For the four chief gatekeepers, who were Levites, were entrusted over the chambers and over the treasuries in the House of God.


At that hour Yeshua said to the crowds, “Have you come out with swords and clubs, to capture Me as you would a revolutionary? Every day I sat teaching in the Temple, and you didn’t seize Me.


Then Yeshua looked up and saw the rich dropping their gifts into the treasury box.


Yeshua said to her, “Woman, what does this have to do with you and Me? My hour hasn’t come yet.”


About halfway through the Feast, Yeshua went up to the Temple and began teaching.


At dawn, He came again into the Temple. All the people were coming to Him, and He sat down and began to teach them.
