And answering, He said to them, “Go report to John what you saw and heard: the blind see, the lame walk, those with tza'arat are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the poor have good news proclaimed to them.


And large crowds came to Him, bringing with them the lame, blind, disabled, mute, and many others. And they laid them at His feet, and He healed them.


Woe to the worthless shepherd who deserts the flock! May a sword fell his arm and his right eye! May his arm be all withered and his right eye totally blinded!”


It is good to wait quietly for the salvation of Adonai.


So be patient, brothers and sisters, until the coming of the Lord. See how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, being patient for it until it receives the early and late rain.


But if we hope for what we do not see, then we eagerly wait for it with perseverance.


Blessed is the one who listens to me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at my doorposts.


Now when the king heard the word of the man of God, which he proclaimed against the altar in Bethel, Jeroboam stretched out his hand from the altar saying: “Seize him!” But the hand which he stretched out against him withered—he could not even draw it back to himself.


News about Him spread throughout all Syria. And they brought to Him all the sick—those tormented by various diseases and afflictions, those plagued by demons, the epileptics, the paralyzed—and He healed them.


Now in Jerusalem there is a pool by the sheep gate, called Bethzatha in Aramaic, which has five porches.
