For we do not have a kohen gadol who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who has been tempted in all the same ways—yet without sin.


Therefore He had to be made like His brothers in all things, so He might become a merciful and faithful Kohen Gadol in matters relating to God, to make atonement for the sins of the people.


Suddenly a great storm arose on the sea, so that the boat was being covered by the waves. But Yeshua kept on sleeping.


Now from the sixth hour, darkness fell upon all the land until the ninth hour.


After He had fasted for forty days and forty nights, He was hungry.


For you know the grace of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah—that even though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, so that through His poverty you might become rich.


Yeshua answered, “Aren’t there twelve hours in the day? If a man walks in the day, he doesn’t stumble, because he sees the light of the world.


But Yeshua said to him, “Foxes have dens and birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay His head.”


and she gave birth to her firstborn son. She wrapped Him in strips of cloth and set Him down in a manger, since there was no room for them in the inn.


So He comes to a Samaritan town called Shechem, near the plot of land that Jacob gave to his son Joseph.


A Samaritan woman comes to draw water. “Give me a drink,” Yeshua tells her,


You’re not greater than our father Jacob, are You? He gave us this well. He drank out of it himself, with his sons and his cattle.”
