“Shalom I leave you, My shalom I give to you; but not as the world gives! Do not let your heart be troubled or afraid.


For everyone born of God overcomes the world. And the victory that has overcome the world is this—our faith.


Now may the Lord of shalom Himself give you shalom at all times and in every way. The Lord be with you all!


You are from God, children, and you have overcome them, because greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world.


And the shalom of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Messiah Yeshua.


Stand up against him, firm in your faith, knowing that the same kinds of suffering are being laid upon your brothers and sisters throughout the world.


“Do not let your heart be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in Me.


Indeed, all who desire to live a godly life in Messiah Yeshua will be persecuted.


They were strengthening the souls of the disciples, encouraging them to persevere in faith, and saying, “It is through many persecutions that we must enter the kingdom of God.”


To the one who overcomes I will grant the right to sit with Me on My throne, just as I myself overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne.


Instead he chose to suffer mistreatment along with the people of God, rather than to enjoy the passing pleasures of sin.


Then he said to me, “These are the ones coming out of the great tribulation. They have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.


because of this, brothers and sisters, in all our distress and trouble, we were comforted about you by your faithfulness.


They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives even in the face of death.


and through Him to reconcile all things to Himself, making peace through the blood of His cross— whether things on earth or things in heaven!


Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah, the Father of compassion and God of all encouragement.


Finally, brothers and sisters, rejoice! Aim for restoration, encourage one another, be of the same mind, live in shalom—and the God of love and shalom will be with you.


For even when we were with you, we kept telling you in advance that we were going to suffer persecution— just as has happened, as you know.


But may I never boast—except in the cross of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah. Through Him the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.


Great is my boldness of speech toward you. Great is my boasting on your behalf. I have been filled with encouragement. I overflow with joy in all our troubles.


So take heart, men, for I trust God that it will be exactly as I have been told.


They will devastate the land of Assyria with the sword— even Nimrod’s land with a drawn blade. He will deliver us from Assyria, when he invades our land, when he tramples on our territory.


The chariots of God are thousands and thousands —my Lord is among them as at Sinai, in holiness.


who gave Himself for our sins to rescue us from this present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father—


So Messiah’s community throughout all Judea and Galilee and Samaria had shalom and was built up. Walking in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Ruach ha-Kodesh, it kept multiplying.


Now is the judgment of this world! Now the prince of this world will be driven out!


“Glory to God in the highest, and on earth shalom to men of good will.”


Yet now I urge you to take heart, for there will be no loss of life among you—but only of the ship.


saying, “Blessed is the King who comes in the name of Adonai! Shalom in heaven and glory in the highest!”


The following night the Lord stood beside Paul and said, “Take courage! For just as you have testified about Me in Jerusalem, so you must also testify in Rome!”

But we have this treasure in jars of clay, so that the surpassing greatness of the power may be from God and not from ourselves.


But as God’s servants, we are commending ourselves in every way—in great endurance, in afflictions, in hardships, in distresses,


I am writing to you, fathers, because you have known the One who is from the beginning. I am writing to you, young men, because you have overcome the evil one.


It was only in order that the generations of Bnei-Yisrael might learn from war, which they had not experienced before.
