But when she brought them close to him to eat, he grabbed her and said to her, “Come lie with me, my sister.”


They have eyes full of adultery that never stop sinning, enticing unstable souls. They have hearts trained in greed—a cursed brood!


So you are the opposite of other women—no one runs after you for favors. You give payment and none is given to you. So you are the opposite!


For everything in the world—the desire of the flesh, the desire of the eyes, and the boasting of life—is not from the Father but from the world.


But I tell you that everyone who looks upon a woman to lust after her has already committed adultery with her in his heart.


You adulterous wife, who receives strangers instead of her husband!


“I made a covenant with my eyes not to pay attention to a virgin.


You built your lofty place at the head of every street. You made your beauty an abomination. You spread your legs for everyone passing by and multiplied your harlotry.


Therefore showers have been withheld and there has been no spring rain. You have a harlot’s brazen look; you refuse to be ashamed.


So she grabs him and kisses him and with a brazen face says to him:


lest you give your strength to others and your years to one who is cruel;


to deliver you from a seducing woman— a wayward wife with seductive words,


Turn my eyes away from gazing at vanity but revive me in Your ways.


then the sons of God saw that the daughters of men were good and they took for themselves wives, any they chose.


My son, if sinners entice you, do not give in.


For on account of a prostitute one is reduced to a loaf of bread; a man’s wife preys on your precious life.
