and the man brought the men into Joseph’s house, gave them water and they washed their feet. He also provided fodder for their donkeys.


So the man came to the house and he unloaded the camels. Straw and feed were given to the camels and water to wash his feet and the feet of the men who were with him.


Then he said, “Here, please my lords, please turn aside to your servant’s house, spend the night and wash your feet. Then you can get up early and go on your way.” But they said, “No. We will spend the night in the open plaza.”

Then he said, “My Lord, if now I have found favor in your eyes, please do not pass by your servant.


So he brought him into his house and gave the donkeys fodder, and they washed their feet and ate and drank.
