Does God pervert justice? Does Shaddai pervert justice?


Surely God does not spurn the blameless or strengthen the hand of evildoers.


The righteous one will rejoice when he beholds vengeance, when he washes his feet in the blood of the wicked.


The Rock—blameless is His work. Indeed, all His ways are just. God of faithfulness without iniquity, righteous and upright is He.


Rise up, O Judge of the earth! Pay back to the proud what they deserve.


For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Messiah, so that each one may receive what is due for the things he did while in the body—whether good or bad.


Then you will return and distinguish between the righteous and the wicked, between one who serves God and one who does not serve Him.”


before Adonai, for He is coming to judge the earth. He will judge the world with righteousness and the peoples with fairness.


Righteous are You, Adonai, when I plead my case with You. Yet I speak with You about justice. Why does the way of the wicked prosper? Why do all the treacherous thrive?


During my fleeting days I have seen both of these things: sometimes a righteous one perishes in his righteousness and sometimes a wicked one lives long in his wickedness.


and to the assembly of the firstborn who are written in a scroll in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of the righteous ones made perfect,


Suppose there are fifty righteous within the city. Will you really sweep away and not spare the place for the sake of fifty righteous who are in it?


“I commanded your judges at that time saying: ‘Hear cases between your brothers, and judge fairly between a man and his brother or the outsider with him.


You must not show partiality in judgment —you must hear the small and the great alike. Fear no man, for the judgment is God’s. The case that is too hard for you, you shall bring to me and I will hear it.’


So I myself have not transgressed against you, yet you are doing me harm by waging war against me. May Adonai, the Judge, judge today between Bnei-Yisrael and the children of Ammon.’”


Now then, let the fear of Adonai be upon you. Be very careful what you do, for there is no injustice or favoritism or bribe-taking with Adonai Eloheinu.”


You are righteous in all that has come upon us. For You have acted faithfully while we have done wickedly.


“Therefore, listen to me, you men of understanding: Wickedness is far from God, injustice from Shaddai


I said in my heart: “The righteous and the wicked, God will judge. For there is a time for every activity and for every deed.”


But Adonai-Tzva’ot, who judges righteously, who tests the mind and the heart, let me see your vengeance on them. For to You I have made my cause known.


“Yet you say, ‘Adonai’s way is unfair!’ Hear now, house of Israel! Is My way not fair? Is it not your ways that are unfair?


But they fell on their faces and cried out, “O God, God of the spirits of all flesh, if one man sins, will you be angry with the entire community?”


Then the trees of the forest will sing for joy before Adonai, for He comes to judge the earth.


“Truly God does not act wickedly, and Shaddai does not pervert justice.


God is a righteous judge, a God who is indignant every day.


The heavens declare His righteousness, for God Himself is Judge. Selah


“When I appoint a set time, I Myself will judge uprightly.
