After David finished offering the burnt offering and the fellowship offerings, he blessed the people in the Name of Adonai.


Then he stood and blessed all the congregation of Israel with a loud voice, saying:


God raised up His Servant and sent Him first to you, to bless you all by turning each of you from your wicked ways.”

So the passersby may never say: “The blessing of Adonai be upon you— we bless you in the Name of Adonai.”
