But I call God as my witness—to spare you, I didn’t come to Corinth again.


For this reason I write these things while I am absent, so that when I am present I need not proceed harshly, according to the authority which the Lord gave me—for building up and not for tearing down.


For out of much distress and anguish of heart I wrote to you with many tears—not to make you sorrowful, but to let you know the love that I have especially for you.


What do you want? Shall I come to you with a rod, or in love and a spirit of gentleness?


When I send Artemas or Tychicus to you, hurry to come to me in Nicopolis, for I have decided to winter there.


For even though I am absent in body, I am present in spirit—I have already passed judgment on the one who has done this thing, as though I were present.


For I decided not to know about anything among you except Yeshua the Messiah—and Him crucified.


When Paul and Barnabas had a big argument and debate with them, the brothers appointed Paul and Barnabas with some others from among them to go up to Jerusalem to the emissaries and elders about this issue.


So the disciples decided to send relief to those brothers and sisters living in Judea, each according to his ability.


Barnabas was planning to take along John, called Mark.
