Judah and the land of Israel were your customers; they traded for your wares with wheat of Minnith, confections, honey, oil and balm.


So they gave money to the stone-masons and carpenters, and food, beverages, and oil to the Sidonians and to the Tyrians to bring cedar trees by sea from Lebanon to Joppa, as authorized by King Cyrus of Persia.

They also brought barley and straw for the horses and swift steeds to the place where it should be, each according to his charge.


Solomon’s wisdom surpassed the wisdom of all the sons of the east and all the wisdom of Egypt.


Hiram sent his servants with the fleet—sailors who knew the sea—along with Solomon’s servants.


behold, I have done according to your words. I have given you a wise and discerning mind, so that there has been none like you before you, nor shall anyone like you arise after you.


Judah and Israel were as numerous as the sand by the sea in abundance, eating and drinking and rejoicing.


So King Solomon exceeded all the kings of the earth in riches and wisdom.


But there is a spirit in people, the breath of Shaddai that gives them understanding.


I spoke with my heart saying: “I have grown rich and increased in wisdom more than any who were before me over Jerusalem. Indeed, my heart has experienced much wisdom and knowledge.”
