Trust in Adonai with all your heart, lean not on your own understanding.


Oy to those who are wise in their own eyes, and clever in their own sight!


For if anyone thinks he is something when he is nothing, he is fooling himself.


But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deluding yourselves.


Amen, I tell you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.”


Whoever then shall humble himself like this child, this one is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.

If anyone thinks he is religious and yet does not bridle his tongue but deceives his heart, this person’s religion is futile.


For we also once were foolish, disobedient, deluded, enslaved to various desires and pleasures, spending our lives in malice and envy, hateful and hating one another.


Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of such things God’s judgment comes on the children of disobedience.


Or don’t you know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Don’t be deceived! The sexually immoral, idolaters, adulterers, those who practice homosexuality,


We are fools for Messiah’s sake, but you are wise in Messiah! We are weak, but you are strong! You are honored, but we are dishonored!


How can you say, ‘We are wise! The Torah of Adonai is with us’? In fact, it is the lying pen of the scribes that have made it a lie.


Do you see one wise in his own eyes? There is more hope for a fool than him.


Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear Adonai and turn away from evil.


If we say we have no sin, we are deceiving ourselves and the truth is not in us.


But evil men and imposters will go from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived.


Do not be deceived—God is not mocked. For whatever a man sows, that he also shall reap.


Do not be deceived! “Bad company corrupts good morals.”


Live in harmony with one another; do not be proud, but associate with the lowly. Do not be wise in your own eyes.


He is feeding on ashes. A deceived heart has led him astray, so he cannot deliver his soul, nor say, “Isn’t what is in my right hand a fraud?”


For I do not want you, brothers and sisters, to be ignorant of this mystery—lest you be wise in your own eyes—that a partial hardening has come upon Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in;


And He said, “Watch out that you are not led astray! For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am He’ and ‘The time is near!’ Do not follow them.


So now, my sons, listen to me and do not turn aside from the words of my mouth.


Thus says Adonai: “Do not deceive yourselves, saying: ‘The Chaldeans will surely depart from us’—for they will not depart.


“But the one sown among the thorns, this is the one who hears the word; and the worries of the world and the seduction of wealth choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful.


If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy him; for God’s temple is holy, and you are that temple.
