Luke 9:10 - The Message

10-11 The apostles returned and reported on what they had done. Jesus took them away, off by themselves, near the town called Bethsaida. But the crowds got wind of it and followed. Jesus graciously welcomed them and talked to them about the kingdom of God. Those who needed healing, he healed.

Be responsive to your pastoral leaders. Listen to their counsel. They are alert to the condition of your lives and work under the strict supervision of God. Contribute to the joy of their leadership, not its drudgery. Why would you want to make things harder for them?


The seventy came back triumphant. “Master, even the demons danced to your tune!”


Then the rider in the birch grove spoke up, “These are the riders that God sent to check things out on earth.”
