God will give ear, and humble them, he who is enthroned from of old; because they keep no law, and do not fear God. Selah


for lo, the wicked bend the bow, they have fitted their arrow to the string, to shoot in the dark at the upright in heart;


When the chief priests and the officers saw him, they cried out, “Crucify him, crucify him!” Pilate said to them, “Take him yourselves and crucify him, for I find no crime in him.”


Thou didst pierce with thy shafts the head of his warriors, who came like a whirlwind to scatter me, rejoicing as if to devour the poor in secret.


But God will shoot his arrow at them; they will be wounded suddenly.


And our enemies said, “They will not know or see till we come into the midst of them and kill them and stop the work.”


Then David said to all his servants who were with him at Jerusalem, “Arise, and let us flee; or else there will be no escape for us from Absalom; go in haste, lest he overtake us quickly, and bring down evil upon us, and smite the city with the edge of the sword.”


And Saul sought to pin David to the wall with the spear; but he eluded Saul, so that he struck the spear into the wall. And David fled, and escaped.


and Saul cast the spear, for he thought, “I will pin David to the wall.” But David evaded him twice.


Cast your burden on the Lord, and he will sustain you; he will never permit the righteous to be moved.


Be exalted, O God, above the heavens! Let thy glory be over all the earth!
