Psalm 30:1

O my God, in thee I trust, let me not be put to shame; let not my enemies exult over me.


Let not those rejoice over me who are wrongfully my foes, and let not those wink the eye who hate me without cause.


Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and extol and honor the King of heaven; for all his works are right and his ways are just; and those who walk in pride he is able to abase.


Grant not, O Lord, the desires of the wicked; do not further his evil plot! Selah


lest my enemy say, “I have prevailed over him”; lest my foes rejoice because I am shaken.


And Hiram king of Tyre sent messengers to David, and cedar trees, also carpenters and masons who built David a house.


All who pass along the way clap their hands at you; they hiss and wag their heads at the daughter of Jerusalem; “Is this the city which was called the perfection of beauty, the joy of all the earth?”


I will extol thee, my God and King, and bless thy name for ever and ever.


Why should the nations say, “Where is their God?” Let the avenging of the outpoured blood of thy servants be known among the nations before our eyes!


By this I know that thou art pleased with me, in that my enemy has not triumphed over me.


O save thy people, and bless thy heritage; be thou their shepherd, and carry them for ever.


And now my head shall be lifted up above my enemies round about me; and I will offer in his tent sacrifices with shouts of joy; I will sing and make melody to the Lord.

Solomon offered as peace offerings to the Lord twenty-two thousand oxen and a hundred and twenty thousand sheep. So the king and all the people of Israel dedicated the house of the Lord.
