let thy ear be attentive, and thy eyes open, to hear the prayer of thy servant which I now pray before thee day and night for the people of Israel thy servants, confessing the sins of the people of Israel, which we have sinned against thee. Yea, I and my father's house have sinned.


For he delivers the needy when he calls, the poor and him who has no helper.


For he has not despised or abhorred the affliction of the afflicted; and he has not hid his face from him, but has heard, when he cried to him.


For the needy shall not always be forgotten, and the hope of the poor shall not perish for ever.


For the Lord will vindicate his people and have compassion on his servants, when he sees that their power is gone, and there is none remaining, bond or free.


But from there you will seek the Lord your God, and you will find him, if you search after him with all your heart and with all your soul.


O Lord, let thy ear be attentive to the prayer of thy servant, and to the prayer of thy servants who delight to fear thy name; and give success to thy servant today, and grant him mercy in the sight of this man.” Now I was cupbearer to the king.


Let their eyes be darkened, so that they cannot see; and make their loins tremble continually.


Then I replied to them, “The God of heaven will make us prosper, and we his servants will arise and build; but you have no portion or right or memorial in Jerusalem.”


The Lord builds up Jerusalem; he gathers the outcasts of Israel.


And the glory of the Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together, for the mouth of the Lord has spoken.”
