Practice hospitality ungrudgingly to one another.


nor grumble, as some of them did and were destroyed by the Destroyer.


Do nothing from selfishness or conceit, but in humility count others better than yourselves.


Do not grumble, brethren, against one another, that you may not be judged; behold, the Judge is standing at the doors.


If possible, so far as it depends upon you, live peaceably with all.


See that none of you repays evil for evil, but always seek to do good to one another and to all.


for the anger of man does not work the righteousness of God.


Let us have no self-conceit, no provoking of one another, no envy of one another.


But if you bite and devour one another take heed that you are not consumed by one another.


But if you have bitter jealousy and selfish ambition in your hearts, do not boast and be false to the truth.


As for the man who is weak in faith, welcome him, but not for disputes over opinions.


They murmured in their tents, and did not obey the voice of the Lord.


These are grumblers, malcontents, following their own passions, loud-mouthed boasters, flattering people to gain advantage.


let him turn away from evil and do right; let him seek peace and pursue it.


Strive for peace with all men, and for the holiness without which no one will see the Lord.


I appeal to you, brethren, to take note of those who create dissensions and difficulties, in opposition to the doctrine which you have been taught; avoid them.


And when Paul and Barnabas had no small dissension and debate with them, Paul and Barnabas and some of the others were appointed to go up to Jerusalem to the apostles and the elders about this question.


Now in these days when the disciples were increasing in number, the Hellenists murmured against the Hebrews because their widows were neglected in the daily distribution.


and to esteem them very highly in love because of their work. Be at peace among yourselves.


“How long shall this wicked congregation murmur against me? I have heard the murmurings of the people of Israel, which they murmur against me.


For I fear that perhaps I may come and find you not what I wish, and that you may find me not what you wish; that perhaps there may be quarreling, jealousy, anger, selfishness, slander, gossip, conceit, and disorder.


And there arose a sharp contention, so that they separated from each other; Barnabas took Mark with him and sailed away to Cyprus,


And after there had been much debate, Peter rose and said to them, “Brethren, you know that in the early days God made choice among you, that by my mouth the Gentiles should hear the word of the gospel and believe.


For this ointment might have been sold for more than three hundred denarii, and given to the poor.” And they reproached her.


And on receiving it they grumbled at the householder,


By insolence the heedless make strife, but with those who take advice is wisdom.


And when they came to the disciples, they saw a great crowd about them, and scribes arguing with them.


And the Pharisees and their scribes murmured against his disciples, saying, “Why do you eat and drink with tax collectors and sinners?”
