the Father loves the Son, and has given all things into his hand.


All things have been delivered to me by my Father; and no one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and any one to whom the Son chooses to reveal him.


but in these last days he has spoken to us by a Son, whom he appointed the heir of all things, through whom also he created the world.


since thou hast given him power over all flesh, to give eternal life to all whom thou hast given him.


Jesus said to them, “If God were your Father, you would love me, for I proceeded and came forth from God; I came not of my own accord, but he sent me.


And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.


“For God has put all things in subjection under his feet.” But when it says, “All things are put in subjection under him,” it is plain that he is excepted who put all things under him.


Let all the house of Israel therefore know assuredly that God has made him both Lord and Christ, this Jesus whom you crucified.”


Now before the feast of the Passover, when Jesus knew that his hour had come to depart out of this world to the Father, having loved his own who were in the world, he loved them to the end.


Jesus then said, “I shall be with you a little longer, and then I go to him who sent me;


I know him, for I come from him, and he sent me.”


No one has ascended into heaven but he who descended from heaven, the Son of man.


No one has ever seen God; the only Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, he has made him known.


All things have been delivered to me by my Father; and no one knows who the Son is except the Father, or who the Father is except the Son and any one to whom the Son chooses to reveal him.”


Jesus answered, “Even if I do bear witness to myself, my testimony is true, for I know whence I have come and whither I am going, but you do not know whence I come or whither I am going.
