He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, will he not also give us all things with him?


For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.


Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us—for it is written, “Cursed be every one who hangs on a tree” —


“Awake, O sword, against my shepherd, against the man who stands next to me,” says the Lord of hosts. “Strike the shepherd, that the sheep may be scattered; I will turn my hand against the little ones.


He destined us in love to be his sons through Jesus Christ, according to the purpose of his will,


For we know that Christ being raised from the dead will never die again; death no longer has dominion over him.


Therefore I will divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he poured out his soul to death, and was numbered with the transgressors; yet he bore the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.


and the living one; I died, and behold I am alive for evermore, and I have the keys of Death and Hades.


He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed.


and those who are in the flesh cannot please God.


Truly, truly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it bears much fruit.


and lo, a voice from heaven, saying, “This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased.”


declaring the end from the beginning and from ancient times things not yet done, saying, ‘My counsel shall stand, and I will accomplish all my purpose,’


Behold my servant, whom I uphold, my chosen, in whom my soul delights; I have put my Spirit upon him, he will bring forth justice to the nations.


how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without blemish to God, purify your conscience from dead works to serve the living God.


He has no need, like those high priests, to offer sacrifices daily, first for his own sins and then for those of the people; he did this once for all when he offered up himself.


And again, “I will put my trust in him.” And again, “Here am I, and the children God has given me.”


And walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.


For he has made known to us in all wisdom and insight the mystery of his will, according to his purpose which he set forth in Christ


and he will reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there will be no end.”


He was still speaking, when lo, a bright cloud overshadowed them, and a voice from the cloud said, “This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased; listen to him.”


The Lord your God is in your midst, a warrior who gives victory; he will rejoice over you with gladness, he will renew you in his love; he will exult over you with loud singing


Who is a God like thee, pardoning iniquity and passing over transgression for the remnant of his inheritance? He does not retain his anger for ever because he delights in steadfast love.


“Seventy weeks of years are decreed concerning your people and your holy city, to finish the transgression, to put an end to sin, and to atone for iniquity, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal both vision and prophet, and to anoint a most holy place.


They shall dwell in the land where your fathers dwelt that I gave to my servant Jacob; they and their children and their children's children shall dwell there for ever; and David my servant shall be their prince for ever.


Say to them, As I live, says the Lord God, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but that the wicked turn from his way and live; turn back, turn back from your evil ways; for why will you die, O house of Israel?


I will rejoice in doing them good, and I will plant them in this land in faithfulness, with all my heart and all my soul.


For the Lord takes pleasure in his people; he adorns the humble with victory.


but the Lord takes pleasure in those who fear him, in those who hope in his steadfast love.


I will establish his line for ever and his throne as the days of the heavens.


May his name endure for ever, his fame continue as long as the sun! May men bless themselves by him, all nations call him blessed!


Posterity shall serve him; men shall tell of the Lord to the coming generation,


To this end we always pray for you, that our God may make you worthy of his call, and may fulfil every good resolve and work of faith by his power,


Of the increase of his government and of peace there will be no end, upon the throne of David, and over his kingdom, to establish it, and to uphold it with justice and with righteousness from this time forth and for evermore. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will do this.


His line shall endure for ever, his throne as long as the sun before me.


In his days may righteousness flourish, and peace abound, till the moon be no more!


For they persecute him whom thou hast smitten, and him whom thou hast wounded, they afflict still more.


He asked life of thee; thou gavest it to him, length of days for ever and ever.


Your people will offer themselves freely on the day you lead your host upon the holy mountains. From the womb of the morning like dew your youth will come to you.


The next day he saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, “Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!


For you will spread abroad to the right and to the left, and your descendants will possess the nations and will people the desolate cities.


Their descendants shall be known among the nations, and their offspring in the midst of the peoples; all who see them shall acknowledge them, that they are a people whom the Lord has blessed.


“For as the new heavens and the new earth which I will make shall remain before me, says the Lord; so shall your descendants and your name remain.


one young bull, one ram, one male lamb a year old, for a burnt offering;


and proclaim his deliverance to a people yet unborn, that he has wrought it.


But I said, “I have labored in vain, I have spent my strength for nothing and vanity; yet surely my right is with the Lord, and my recompense with my God.”


if God is glorified in him, God will also glorify him in himself, and glorify him at once.
