“Behold, I send an angel before you, to guard you on the way and to bring you to the place which I have prepared.


I keep the Lord always before me; because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.


And I will send an angel before you, and I will drive out the Canaanites, the Amorites, the Hittites, the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites.

These are the generations of Noah. Noah was a righteous man, blameless in his generation; Noah walked with God.


Enoch walked with God after the birth of Methuselah three hundred years, and had other sons and daughters.

But he said to them, “Do not delay me, since the Lord has prospered my way; let me go that I may go to my master.”


And Solomon said, “Thou hast shown great and steadfast love to thy servant David my father, because he walked before thee in faithfulness, in righteousness, and in uprightness of heart toward thee; and thou hast kept for him this great and steadfast love, and hast given him a son to sit on his throne this day.
