But solid food is for the mature, for those who have their faculties trained by practice to distinguish good from evil.


But Peter and John answered them, “Whether it is right in the sight of God to listen to you rather than to God, you must judge;


He said to them, “Then render to Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and to God the things that are God's.”

But Peter and the apostles answered, “We must obey God rather than men.


Ephraim is oppressed, crushed in judgment, because he was determined to go after vanity.


A wise man's heart inclines him toward the right, but a fool's heart toward the left.


Keep the king's command, and because of your sacred oath be not dismayed;


The wise man has his eyes in his head, but the fool walks in darkness; and yet I perceived that one fate comes to all of them.


A man of understanding sets his face toward wisdom, but the eyes of a fool are on the ends of the earth.


But the midwives feared God, and did not do as the king of Egypt commanded them, but let the male children live.


And so, from the day we heard of it, we have not ceased to pray for you, asking that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding,


Then I shall not be put to shame, having my eyes fixed on all thy commandments.


No ill befalls the righteous, but the wicked are filled with trouble.


The end of the matter; all has been heard. Fear God, and keep his commandments; for this is the whole duty of man.
