They snatch on the right, but are still hungry, and they devour on the left, but are not satisfied; each devours his neighbor's flesh,


The sluggard does not plow in the autumn; he will seek at harvest and have nothing.


The soul of the sluggard craves, and gets nothing, while the soul of the diligent is richly supplied.


I will take my flesh in my teeth, and put my life in my hand.


A slothful man will not catch his prey, but the diligent man will get precious wealth.


A man who is kind benefits himself, but a cruel man hurts himself.


The words of a wise man's mouth win him favor, but the lips of a fool consume him.


How long will you lie there, O sluggard? When will you arise from your sleep?
